Fujimoto Miki biography

Fujimoto Miki, born February 26, 1985.
In 1999, she auditioned in avex dream 2000, but she wasn´t selected.
In 2000 she was a finalist to be part of the 4th Generation of Morning Musume, but again she wasn´t selected. A year later, in 2001, she was offered the option of being solo artist in  Hello Project. After training for a little over a year, she made her solo debut with her first single, "Nagai Nichiyoubi Aenai. Miki said in an interview that he worked as a receptionist at Up-Front Agency during their training period.

In October 2002, Miki formed the group Gomattou,  with two great soloists of Hello Project, Aya Matsuura and Maki Goto. It was a Unit that was scheduled just a single.

Miki Fujimoto released five solo singles and an album. After a successful performance in the music program at New Year's Eve, "Kohaku Uta Gassen", producer Tsunku decided that she would join Morning Musume as a member of the sixth generation.

In February 2004, she joined the football team Gatas Brillates HP.

The June 15, 2006, it was announced that Fujimoto Miki and Aya Matsuura form a duo, the group name is GAM. Their first single was released on September 13.

On May 6, 2007, Yoshizawa Hitomi graduated of Morning Musume and Miki Fujimoto turned into the new leader. On June 1, 2007, Fujimoto left her position in Morning Musume. She would continue with GAM and in Hello! Proyect and Up-Front Agency. On February 11, 2008, Miki announced that she was going to release a single in solitary so called "Okitegami". In June, 2008, It announced that Fujimoto would do Rizzo's paper in the musical Grease.

The March 24, 2009, it was announced that Fujimoto Miki and comedian Shouji Tomoharu, the comedy duo Shinagawa Shouji, they would complete their two-year long relationship with a wedding in July. They married on July 3, 2009 in Hawaii.
 
On June 2, 2010, Miki had a traffic accident at a traffic light where she collided with a taxi, luckily no injuries and Miki apologized on her blog.
 
On February 24, 2011, it was announced that Fujimoto Miki would open in two days Yakiniku restaurant in Yokohama.
 
On January 28, 2011, Miki was announced that the new group would be part of the OG, Dream Morning Musume. On April 20, 2011 they released an album.

On September 9, 2011, it was announced that Fujimoto Miki is pregnant with her first child, who is called Toranosuke and was born March 27, 2012.

On October 3, 2012, Miki released her first book titled "The Book of the First Mom"
